What is Glass Ionomer Filling?

It is a type of filling applied in the treatment of caries in the anterior teeth and especially in the root of the tooth. Glass ionomer is a method used especially for children among the types of dental fillings. In the application, fluoride is secreted to help dental health and interlock the teeth. Compared to composite filling, it is not as durable and does not adapt to tooth color as much.
